Installed Examples of ESROTAE Cubic Latticed Contactor

Case1: Chemical Factory (river effluent)

Wastewater volume 100m3/day
(unit:mg/L)
  ESROTAE
influent water
Effluent
BOD 800 20
SS 300 20
[Hiroshima Pref.]
  • Installation in 2008
Extension can be easily realized according to the amount of wastewater.

Four set‘s of ESROTAE type II were initially installed.

As wastewater volume increased, four more set‘s of ESROTAE type II were extended, and it was made a total of eight set‘s of facilities.

Case2: Food Factory (sewage effluent)

Wastewater volume 100m3/day
(unit:mg/L)
  ESROTAE
influent water
Effluent
BOD 1000 300
SS 400 300
n-Hex 80 30
[Osaka Pref.]
  • Installation in 2006
Existing treatment facility was renovated, stability was achieved and space conserved.

The existing treatment facility (tricking filter process) capacity was insufficient

Although there was not sufficient space, by combining types and simple placement, a small area could be utilized efficiently and stable treatment could be achieved.

Case3: Food Factory (sewage effluent)

Wastewater volume 20m3/day
(unit:mg/L)
  ESROTAE
influent water
Effluent
BOD 1600 600
SS 200 600
n-Hex 70 30
[Osaka Pref.]
  • Installation in 2006
Existing treatment facility was renovated, realizing stability.

The wastewater was contaminated by a high concentration of oil and approximately 300mg/L by n-hexane. Treatment was not possible at the existing facilities.

A retention period was created in the flow equalization tank and the appropriate microorganisms were added. Stable treatment could be achieved by ESROTAE.
